Sunday School
Our children are divided into three age groups in the Sunday School. It is a platform for the children to learn scripture and doctrine from a young age. This is a great place to develop gospel friendships, and also where the children are provided with a right understanding of the gospel so that in due time they would come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Sunday School team wants to see the children’s lives transformed by the Gospel. To this end, they uphold our children in their prayers, with the hope that God would save them.
Bible Teaching
Discipleship Classes are a time of learning and being equipped by scripture and doctrine for the members of the Church. The leadership hopes to strengthen the members of the church through this regular teaching, in which they would deal with each subject in-depth and systematically.
Taking a break for the summer.
Internship Program
The Pastoral internship program is an opportunity for those who have completed their seminary training and need practical experience of ministry before they get into ministry. For such brothers, a one or two-year internship program is offered to train them up and to send them out for church planting. Up to four interns may get an opportunity to do an internship each year.
Interns are involved in reading books, discussions, Sunday service review meetings etc. They do house visiting and do study the Bible with other believers.
This is an unique opportunity for the interns to learn practically about church and discipleship and be equipped to get into church planting ministry.
Brothers In Christ
Resident Disciples are young men who are staying at the Satya Vachan Centre. They have completed their schooling, and have come to stay here and pursue their further studies. During this time they learn from the Bible and are disciplined by the church. They learn different skills like typing, computer, driving, music, video editing, etc..
The leadership hopes to encourage them to grow in their spiritual life and also encourage them to serve the church. At the end of their studies, if the Lord puts a burden on them, and if the leaders of the church see potential, then they would be encouraged to pursue theological studies and consider vocational ministry. This is an initial phase of discipling young men to grow them as leaders.
Women’s Bible Study
The women of our church meet twice a month to study the Bible together regularly. This is a time where they dig deeper into God’s Word and apply it to their lives. This is also a time of fellowship and friendship where they pray for each other based on the scripture which they have studied.
The women’s group are having their Bible study on the Book of
1 John. It has helped them to strengthen and encourage each other.
